Construction and application of risk management process system in intravenous in-fusion nursing of children

Objective To explore the construction and application effect of the risk management process system in the nursing of infantile intravenous infusion. Methods A retrospective analysis of 200 cases of children receiving intravenous infusion in the hospital from January 2016 to January 2017 was conducted. According to different nursing measures, the patients were divided into control group and observation group.102 children received routine nursing management mode, which was included in the control group.Ninety-eight children received the nursing management mode of the risk management process system, which was included in the observation group.Nursing satisfaction, adverse events, risk awareness score and nursing quality score were compared between the two groups. Results The nursing satisfaction of the family members of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse events in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The risk management awareness, risk factor awareness, risk management attitude, risk management intention and processing ability of the family members of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the family members of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The family members of the observation group scored higher than the control group on basic nursing care, operation proficiency, operation normalization and service attitude of the nursing staff, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). Conclusions The risk management process system can significantly improve the quality of intravenous infusion nursing services in children, improve nursing satisfaction, reduce adverse events, and improve service attitude, which is worthy of wide clinical use.
