Application of family-centered nursing intervention in children with bronchial pneumonia

Objective To explore the application effect of family-centered nursing intervention in children with bronchial pneumonia .Methods One hundred and four children with bronchial pneumonia from January 2012 and December 2013 were chosen and were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, each with 52 cases.The control group received the routine intervention , and the observation group received the family-centered nursing intervention on the basis of routine measures .The clinical efficacy and the recovery situation of lung function were compared between two groups .Results The cases of cure , remarkable effect, effectiveness and invalid were respectively 19, 20, 9, 4 cases in the observation group after the intervention, and were 13, 9, 16, 14 cases in the control group.The effective rate in the observation group was 92.3%, and was 73.1%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant （χ2 =19.549,P〈0.01）.The times of the disappearance of cough , stopping expectoration, relieving asthma, bringing down the temperature and the disappearance of pulmonary rales in the observation group were respectively （9.78 ±2.07）, （7.28 ±1.76）, （4.32 ±1.13）, （4.02 ±1.17）, （7.84 ±1.14） d, and were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant （t=5.009,7.489,3.632,9.512,5.915, respectively;P〈0.05）.Conclusions The family-centered nursing intervention in children with bronchial pneumonia can improve the clinical efficacy and the recovery of lung function , and is worthy of research and promotion .
