Abstract

Objective To investigate the echocardiography characteristics of left ventricular hy-pertrophy combined with left heart failure. Methods Fifty patients with hypertensive left ventricular hy-pertrophy combined with left heart failure were selected as observation group, and 50 cases of healthy people were selected as control group. The two groups were given cardiac ultrasound examination and re-lated indicators were compared in color Doppler ultrasound examination. Results LVDd,LAD,E peak,Ea peak ratio in observation group were significantly higher than that of the control group, the LVEF ratio was lower in observation group than that that of the control group(P 〈 0. 05). In observation group, there were significant differences in LVDd,LAD,LVEF,E and Ea peaks between patients with functional classification(P 〈 0. 05). The ratio of LVDd,LAD,E peak,Ea peak increased with the heart function classification,LVEF ratio decreased with the grading of cardiac function. Conclusions Echocardiography for left ventricular hypertrophy in hypertensive patients with left heart failure is the best choice,it is a security, fast and convenient diagnostic method, and has no harm to human body. It is valuable and worthy of popularization and application. Key words: Hypertension; Left ventricular hypertrophy; Left ventricular failure; Ultrasound
