Abstract

Objective To study if small incision non-phacoemulsification cataract extraction is suitable for primary hospitals. Methods Our hospital 110 cases(120 eyes),after small incision non-phacoemulsification cataract extraction combined with intraocular lens implantation in treatment of cataract patients data, the intraoperative, postoperative complications, and postoperative visual acuity recovery were summarized. Results Intraoperative, postoperative complications were compared with previous surgery, postoperative visual acuity recovered better faster. Conclusion Small incision non-phacoemulsification cataract surgery is safe and effective, simple, less investment, low cost, suitable for primary hospitals in cataract operation. Key words: Small incision; Cataract; Non-phacoemulsification; Primary hospital
