Abstract

Objetive Compare and analysis the therapy effect of manual small incision cataract extraction and phacoemulsification surgery, discuss a practical cataract surgery in treating poor cataract patients..Methods Retrospectively compare the postoperative visual acuity, intraoperative and postoperative complications of 200 cases of cataract who underwent cataract surgery during May to June 2009 in our hospital. Results There was no difference in visual acuity, intraoperative and postoperative complications between small incision cataract extraction and phacoemulsification surgery in the long term. Conclusion The efficacy of two surgical methods are similar.Small incision cataract extraction is more economical, more suitable for operation in prevention blindness.
