Observation on therapeutic effects of fluvoxamine combined with cognitive behavior therapy in the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder

Objective To discuss the clinical curative effect of fluvoxamine combined with cognitive behavior therapy in the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder.Methods In 12 weeks,60 cases with cognitive behavior received fluvoxamine combined with cognitive therapy,the other 60 cases received only fluvoxamine therapy.Observation indexes included comparative observation of treatment for the Obsessive Compulsive Scale,self consistency and Congruence Scale score and clinical curative effect after 4 weeks,8 weeks and 12 weeks.Results After 12 weeks of treatment,the effect rate was 90％ in the study group and 73.3％ in the control group with significant differences (P＜0.05).After the treatment,the Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale and self consistency and Congruence Scale score were decreased significantly (P＜0.01) in two groups,and the study group decreased more significantly than those in the control group (P＜0.01).There was no significant difference in adverse reaction of two groups (P＞0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder,fluvoxamine combined with cognitive behavior therapy provides effect more significantly than that with fluvoxamine.
