Clinical observation of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate in the treatment of patients with alcoholic liver disease

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate in the treatment of patients with alcoholic liver disease.Methods One hundred and seventy-five patients with alcoholic liver disease were randomly divided into 2 groups.The controlled group was treated with vitamin C,inosine injection,reduced glutathione by intravenous drop once a day for 21 days.The treatment group was treated with 150 mg magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate on the basis of that.Symptoms,signs,hepatic function tests and adverse effect were observed.Results The improvement of liver function indexes in the treatment group were better than that in control group(P ＜0.05).And the total effective rate of the treatment group was also higher than that of the control group(P ＜ 0.05).No side effects were observed in the two groups.Conclusions Clinical symptom and liver function were improve after treatment with magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate in patients with alcoholic liver disease.The drug is effective and safe.
