Professional Practical Innovative Ability Nurturing System Orientation and Implementation of the Local Comprehensive Universities

The engineering practice education in colleges and universities generally lacks the characteristics and pertinence,especially in the local comprehensive colleges and universities.There are many questions,such as seriously out of step with industrial needs,unreasonable talent cultivation structure,the students weak self-learning ability.In this paper,the mechatronical engineering major of the Three Gorges University is taken as an example,it analyzed the engineering practice education mode and orientation of local comprehensive university from the national and industry development strategy,the professional profiles and talents training,the practical innovation ability training system construction and its implementation effect and so on.It analyzed and discussed the mode and orientation of engineering practice education in the comprehensive university,so as to provide reference and experience for the engineering practice education of the relevant specialty or institution.
