Abstract

Angiogenin cDNA amplified by PCR and PE40 cDNA was inserted into pUC19. Angiogenin-PE40 recombinant toxin was constructed which was confirmed by DNA sequencing. The fusion gene was then cloned into the expression vector pRSETB. After being tranformed ito E. coli BL21DE3(pLysS) host bacteria, the recombinant protein was expressed in inclusion bodies with the yield of 8% total bacteria proteins. The recombinant toxin^s molecular weight was about 58 kD.
