Abstract

Objective To investigate the prevalence and drug resistance of Mycoplasma in local area and to provide the basic data for rational therapy. Methods The specimens were tested by the bioMerieux IST2 kit,the results of positive rate and drug resistance were analyzed respectively. Results A total of 536 patients were tested, and the positive rate of Mycoplasma was 275(51.3%),among them, the positive rate of Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu)and Mycoplasma hominis(Mh)was 245(45.7%)and 15(2.5%)respectively.The positive strains were relatively sensitive to tetracycline and macrolides, highly resistant to quinollones. Conclusion There is a high positive rate of Mycoplasma infection in clinic.Selecting antibiotics according to the result of drug sensitivity test is therefore essential to clinical diagnosis and the treatment of Mycoplasma infection.
