Abstract
Objective:To investigate the infection and drug resistance of Mycoplasma in local area and to provide the basic data for rational therapy. Methods:The specimens were collected from patients treated in our hospital from 2008 to 2010 for mycoplasma culture and drug sensitivity test. Results:Among the 8307 samples,4378 specimens were positive(52.7%),composed of simplex Uu infection(3357 cases,40.4%),simplex Mh infection(145 cases,1.7%),Uu+Mh mixed infection(876 cases,10.5%).Most Mycoplasma infection patients in the region aged 20 to 40 years old.The positive rate in female was higher than in male. The drug sensitivity results showed that the positive strains were relatively sensitive to doxycycline, josamycin and minocycline, the sensitive rates were between 91.2% and 97.9%.Compared to Ureaplasma urealyticum,Mycoplasma hominis and mix infection had higher resistance rate. Conclusion:Rational use of antibiotics should be in accordance with the types of mycoplasma infection and drug susceptibility.
