Abstract
Objective To investigate the features and the clinical siginificance of ultrasonic elastography in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast tumor. Methods The ultrasonic elastography findings were retrospectively analyzed in 146cases of breast tumor(175lesions),and were compared with histopathological results. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of ultrasonic elastography for benign and malignant breast tumor were eveluated. Results In 175 lesions,110were benign and 65were malignant. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were 92.3%(60/65),76.4%(84/110)and 82.3%(144/175)for benign and malignant breast tumor. Conclusions Ultrasonic elastography can improve the accuracy of the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast tumor.
