Abstract

Objective To investigate the ultrasonic elastography features of benign breast lesions and evaluate the value of ultra sonic elastography in the diagnosis of benign breast lesions. Methods Ultrasonic elastography findings of 438 benign breast lesions in 329 cases were retrospectively reviewed by using improved elasticity scores. Results 384 lesions (88.7%) were evaluated as score 1 or 2. Conclusion Ultrasonic elastography is useful for the diagnosis of benign breast lesions because of the low hardness.
