Abstract
Object To improve the diagnosis of early breast cancer with mammography. Methods There were 40 women with age from 27 to 70 years old, the mean age was 45.4 years. All the patients confirmed by surgical pathology were examined with mammography. Results Before operation, 15 cases breast cancers were diagnozed by mammography, while 14 cases breast cancer and 1 cases of benign tumor were verified by pathology. Among 8 cases of benign breast tumor in mammography before operation, 6 cases of fibroadenoma and 1 case of sclerosing lesion and 1 case of breast cancer were reported by pathology. In the 15 cases mammoplasia and 2 cases negative diagnosis with Xray, there were 15 cases of mammoplasia and 1 case of galactocele and 1 case of breast cancer after operation. Conclusions Mammography is the first choice for early finding breast cancer and it can be used as physical examination and general survey.
