Diagnostic value of digital mammography in breast cancer

Abstract
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of digital mammography in breast cancer,and to improve the early diagnosis of breast cancer. Methods The digital mammography data of 198 patients with breast cancer who were confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed,and then evaluate the diagnosis and value of digital mammography in breast cancer.Results One hundred and ninety-eight cases of breast cancer,110 cases have clinical palpable mass( 55%),mass with malignant calcification in 42 cases( 21%),asymmetric high density with structural disorder in 27 cases( 13%),PAGETS disease in4 cases( 2%). Thirty-two cases had skin thickening,accounting for 16%; 28 cases had nipple,accounting for 14%. Conclusion Digital mammography has high diagnostic accuracy rate in breast cancer. Combined with clinical history and physical examination,it can be more effective to prevent misdiagnosis.
