Clinical observation of salmeterol and fluticasone in treatment of bronchial asthma

Objective To observe clinical effect of salmeterol and fluticasone in treatment of bronchial asthma.Methods 90 patients with bronchial asthma were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,45 cases of each.The control group was given anti-infection,oxygen,cough phlegm and other comprehensive treatment,the treatment group on the basis of the control group combined fluticasone propionate and salmeterol inhalation therapy,FEV1,FVC,PEF were measured before treatment and 3 months after,and asthma symptoms were scored.Results FEV1,FVC,PEF of the two groups were higher after treatment,the differences were statistically significant(P0.05),and the improvements in the treatment group were better than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P0.05);Asthma symptom scores of the two groups were lower after treatment,the differences were statistically significant(P0.05),and the improvements in the treatment group was better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Inhaled salmeterol and fluticasone propionate in treatment of bronchial asthma,asthma control can be achieved with good effect.
