Clinical effect observation of salmeterol and fluticasone on bronchial asthma

Objective:To study the clinical effect of salmeterol and fluticasone in treatment of bronchial asthma.Methods:One hundred and fifty-six patients with bronchial asthma were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,all patients were treated with based therapy,and the control group was added with budesonide,treatment group was added with fluticasone/salmeterol.Before treatment and after 3 months,FEV1,FVC,PEF were measured and the clinical effect was compared.Results:After 3 months,FEV1,FVC,PEF of treatment group were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P0.05);the total effective rate of treatment group was 94.9%,and the rate of control group was 85.9%,the differences were statistically significant between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion:Fluticasone/salmeterol shows satisfactory clinical efficacy in the treatment of bronchial asthma,which is better than budesonide alone,and it is worthy of clinical use.
