Integrative Medicine on the Treatment of Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura Clinical Observation

Objective: To observe the Chinese and Western medicine therapy of idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP) in patients with clinical efficacy.Methods: 60 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group of 30 patients in the control group given according to the severity of intravenous corticosteroids or oral,and with symptomatic and supportive therapy.Group therapy in the control group was added based on the decoction of Chinese medicine Huang horns,3 months to 1 course of treatment,two effects were observed after treatment.Results: The overall efficacy of the two groups were compared,treatment group was 100% in the control group,the total efficiency of 86.67%.Significant difference(P0.05),compared two groups of patients were long-term efficacy,the efficiency of the treatment group was 90.0% in the control group,the total efficiency of 86.67%.Significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion: The use of TCM with Western medicine treatment of oral decoction of idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura,toxic side effects,and long-term efficacy is superior and should be introduced.
