Abstract
PAGE (ployacrylamide gel elecrophoresis) analyses on total protein and ABA content in the leaves of P. euphratica, P. talassica and their 3 hybrids i. e. P. euphratica-type, P. talassica-type and the mid-type judged judged by the shape of leaves were made. The results were as following: (1) The similarities in the bands of PAGE were the highest among the 3 hybrids, then between the hybrids and P. euphratica, the smallest between the hybrids and P. talassica. (2) When there is not salt stress, ABA content in the leaves does not reflect the capability of salt resistance.
