Study on the ecology of bird in the Tianhe Airport

Abstract
The birds in summer were investigated from 11 samples of 5 habitats in the Tianhe Airport, 59 species belonging to 32 families and 13 orders, were found 31 species (52.5%) are the birds of the Oriental region, 12 species (20.3%) cosmopolitan and 16 species (27.2%) of Palaearctic. There are 25 species (42.4%) of summer migrant, 24 species (40.7%) of resident birds, 10 species (16.9%) of travelers. The most important birds are Common tern (1 367 one/hm~(2)), Chinese pond heron (0.484 one/hm~(2)) and Rufous-backed shrike (0.338 one/hm~(2)), Chinese pond heron, Common tern, Black drongo and others (22 species) are euryoecious, PIE is 0.838.
