Investigation of winter birds^ community structure and diversity in the Muping Lake

There are 38 species of winter birds in the Muping lake. They belong to 9 orders, 19 families, 33 genuses; 2 ofthem ae national second-class protected birds and 7 are provincial protected birds; 15 species are winter migrant and 23 resident; 19 species are oriental birds, one is palearctic bird and 18 species arewidespread; The birds^ diversity index in the region is 2.642 3, evenness index is 0.726 4.
