THE MADE HEADWAYS OF EXPLORATION ON GEOLOGY AND MINERAL RESOURCES OF XINJIANG IN 2007 AND THE WORK POINTS ON IT IN 2008

The investment of geological exploration in 2007 continued to increase than before.The new high technologies have been applied to geological exploration.Geological exploration system,which is scientific and accords with practicality of Xinjiang,has been set up basically.‘Ring-Jungar’ and ‘Ring-Tarim’ called new areas for finding ores started to appear,in which,the new headways of finding nitratite,iron,lead-zinc,copper-nickel and coal have been taken.In 2008,we will arrange most geological work in ‘Ring-Jungar’ and ‘Ring-Tarim’ for finding ores,strength to use hi-technologies in exploration and better geological exploration system.The potential assessment project of national mineral resources starts up full-scale with scientifically deploying,unfurling in the area,giving prominence to points and fasting to value.
