This paper aims to clarify the contributions brought by communication into the professional environment and its effects on the motivation of work teams. Moreover, I am particularly interested in aspects concerning nonverbal communication, listening behaviors, impression management, and the training of managers. In this vein, we feel the need to emphasize again the fact that the communication process represents a key factor for the performance of the organisation.
