Abstract

The present study is a short note on rural youth participation in agriculture for sustainable development. The study address the issue and challenges of retaining youth in agriculture. The various schemes, plans and programmes for attracting and retaining youth in agriculture was discussed. The importance of youth in agriculture for sustained development was highlighted in the study.
