Abstract
A program of the Iowa Energy Policy Council (state energy office) to introduce passive solar technology into community college building trades curricula is described. The center of this program is a passive solar house design that will be built in lieu of the more typical house the colleges usually build. A description of the energy-related features and a prediction of performance of the passive solar house is presented.
