Fibroadenoma with Marked Cystic Degeneration

Abstract

Background: Fibroadenoma is the most common breast tumor in adolescent and young women.Extensive cystic degeneration in fibroadenoma, so called "cystic fibroadenoma" is rare.Case Report: Herein, we report 32-year-old female with breast lump and was diagnosed as fibroadenoma with marked cystic degeneration on histopathological examination.Conclusion: Cystic fibroadenoma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of cystic lesions of the breast.
