Abstract

Objective To investigate the expression of cytochrome P4501B1 (CYP1B1) in breast fibroadenomas and its mechanism of clinical pathological parameters. Methods The expression of CYP1B1 protein in 40 patients with breast fibroadenomas and 40 cases of corresponding normal tissues was detected. The relationship between CYP1B1 protein and clinicopathological features was analyzed. Results The expression of CYP1B1 protein in tumor tissues of breast fibroadenoma patients (57.5%) was significantly higher than that in normal tissues (20.0%). The difference was statistically significant (χ2=11.850, P 0.05). Conclusion CYP1B1 protein is significantly associated with the formation and development of breast fibroadenomas. Key words: Breast fibroadenoma; Cytochrome P4501B1 protein; P450
