Abstract
After systematically investigating and collecting the wild buckwheat resources of more than 60 counties in 3 states and 3 areas of Sichuan,313 resources and 172 samples of 8 species,2 varieties, and 2 subspecies distributing different ecological areas were collected. The types, characteristics, primitive environmental diversity and two main distribution centers of wild buckwheat resources were defined in Sichuan, miniplasmids grassy F.urophyllum and red-flowered F.urophyllum were discovered the botanical features of F.x,F.y and F.z were not the same as the named-species,which were likely to be new species or varieties(undetermined).
