Abstract
Propeller is an important part of ship electric propulsion system. This paper used the Chebyshev polynomial fitting four quadrant propeller load characteristics map and referred to a cruise ship electric propulsion system parameters. Combined with the motion characteristics of the propeller system, the propeller system mathematical model is established. We use the MATLAB/Simulink software to establish simulation model of the oars. We simulated the model basing on setting sail and reversing two basic conditions. The dynamic characteristics of propeller speed, ship speed and propeller load torque is analyzed under two conditions. The simulation results verify the correctness of the oar model, but also provide a theoretical basis for the actual operation of the process.
