Abstract

Wave condition in the water area of the Yangtze River estuary is studied in the paper. The factors of the friction of bottom and the input of wind energy are defined by analyzing the information of the measuring stations. The wave transmission of the leading jetties and spur dikes is analyzed. The distribution of wave height in the water area of the Yangtze River estuary is presented.
