CT Diagnosis of Adhesive Intestinal Obstruction and Subtype

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of spiral CT of bowel obstruction and subtype.Methods CT signs in 18 cases of patients with adhesive intestinal obstruction proved by surgery were analyzed retrospectively.Results The proportions of correct diagnosis of intestinal obstruction for spiral CT were 100%,4 cases of strangulated intestinal obstruction with bowel necrosis have CT signs apparently.10 patients(55.6%)CT manifestations can display subtypes of bowel obstruction,3 cases with extensive adhesive obstruction show small bowel feces sign obviously.Conclusion CT can diagnose adhesive intestinal obstruction correctly,and give more adhesion information of the subtypes of adhesive obstruction to clinician for suitable clinical treatment.
