Abstract
Objective To evaluate CT in the diagnosis of intestinal obstruction. Methods CT and plain abdominal film and surgical findings in 34 cases with mechanical intestinal obstruction were retrospectively analyzed. Results CT manifestation and surgical findings were consistent in 26(76%),including neoplasm(10),adhesions(5),intussusception(5),bowel torsion(2),inflammation(3) and bowel ischemia(3).Conclusion CT is valuable in diagnosis of mechanical intestinal obstruction,it can identify the site, level and the cause of obstruction, and show the blood supply of the bowel.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
