Abstract
【Objective】 To compare the expression of p53 in different high risk human papillomavirus(HPV) types in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) cases.【Methods】 60 paraffinembedded samples(infected with high risk HPV with method of hybrid capture Ⅱ,HC2,and diagnosised with CIN in histology) were used to detect HPV16/18 and HPV31/33 with method of in situ hybridization, and to detect the expression of p53 protein with method of immunohistochemistry.20 cervical squamous cell carcinoma cases and 20 normal cervical cases were served as positive group and negative group respectively.【Results】 The positive expression rates of p53 protein were 15.56%,13.75%,17.14% respectively in CIN cases infected with HPV16/18,HPV31/33 and other high risk HPV group(HPV35,39,45,51,52,56,58,59,68),without statistic difference(P 0.05).【Conclusion】 Expression rate of p53 was similar in CIN cases infected with different high risk HPVs.It suggest high risk HPVs may have the same influence upon the host's p53,different high risk HPVs may have the same binding form with host's p53,and the relationship between CIN degree and there may be no correlation between different high risk HPVs and p53 mutation.
