Abstract
The genetic diversity and relationship among 60 pink double group cultivars of Prunus mume Sieb.et Zucc.were analyzed by inter-simple sequence repeat(ISSR) marker.Eleven primers generated 106 DNA fragments,93 fragments(87.7%) of which were polymorphic.ISSR primers amplified 6 to 13 bands ranging in size from 220 to 2 500 bp,with an average of 9.6 fragments per primer. The Nei's genetic distance ranged from 0.081 to 0.543,which indicated that genetic basis was relatively spacious among the 60 cultivars.A dendrogram was constructed based on ISSR data using UPGMA cluster method. The 60 cultivars were classified into two major clusters, which obviously related to geographic origin.
