Abstract
Yield and yield composition of Jinqiao 6 under different planting densities were studied by field experiment. The numbers of branches, seed number per plant and grain weight per plant were significantly different under different densities, which had a significant negative correlation with planting density.Yield under different densities were significantly different, with the highest yield 2 479.67 kg /hm2 under 1 200 000 plants/hm2.The yields were increased along with the increase of density which was from 300 000 to 1 200 000 plants/hm2;when the density was above 1 500 000 plants/hm2,the yield declined.
