The effect of nurse rotation training in ICU

Objective To explore the rotation training effect in ICU. Methods 60 nurses in the hospital were trained in rotation in ICU for two months. At first, the project contents, plan, time were formulated. Based on the project, training contents and time were arranged, the form and methods for rounding, teaching methods of teacher, the methods for the nurse's ability in foreseeing and observation all included. Results In 60 nurses receiving ICU training, their mastery of techniques for rescue had significant difference before and after training by ?字2 test (P0.01). The training project raised their ability in rescue and played active role in rescuing severe patients. Conclusion On one hand, the rotation training of nurses in ICU can increase their level of comprehensive profession. On the other, it helps increase the overall level in ICU.
