Abstract

Objective To survey the antibiotic-resistance and the prevalence of penicillinase-producing(PPNG)and potential tetracycline-resistance of N.gonorrhoeae(TRNG)in Nanchang. Methods Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) to N.gonorrhoeae of penicillin G,tetracycline, ciprofloxacin, spectinomycin and ceftriaxone were determined by using the agar dilution method. Results The N.gonorrhoeae strains resistanted to penicillin G,tetracycline, ciprofloxacin, spectinomycin and ceftriaxone were 74.17%,76.67%, 38.33%,98.33%,80%;there were 16(13.33%)strains PPNG and 15(12.5%)strains TRNG N.gonorrhoeae;31.67%(38/120)of the isolates were exhibiting resistance to penicillin, tetracycline and ciprofloxacin. Conclusion Ceftriaxone and spectinomycin could be given priority to treating patients with N.gonorrhoeae; The resistant strains of N.gonorrhoeae to penicillin, tetracycline and ciprofloxacin were serious.
