The Position and Role of Rural Forestry in the Forestry Construction of Hunan Province

Rural forestry, as a kind of forestry participated by rural residents, has important significance in improving ecological environment, making rural economy sustainable development, and raising peasants' living standard. Having studied the concept of rural forestry and practiced the rural forestry in Hunan Province, this paper expounds the position and role of rural forestry in Hunan's forestry construction according to the target of Hunan's forestry development.
