Review and prospect of forestry development in Hunan Province

In this paper,the achievement,brilliant point and experience in forestry development of Hunan during the period of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan are reviewed.The existing problems in forestry development and the current forestry situation are analyzed.Then,the development prospect of Hunan forestry during the period of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan is stated.The overall plan of forestry development in Hunan is as follows: 1) deepen innovation;2) carry out well forest management and coordinate urban-rural afforestation;3) perfect forestry ecosystem,forestry industrial system and ecological culture system;4) strengthen facilities foundation,policy foundation,technology foundation and talent foundation.
