Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of Xuebijing Injection in serum TNF-α and IL-10 levels in patients with acute craniocerebral injury. Methods 64 patients with acute craniocerebral injury were divided into two groups.34 patients of control group received routine treatment, and 30 patients of treatment group were added with Xuebijing Injection on basis of routine treatment. At the same time, the serum TNF-α and IL-10 levels at all timing before and after treatment were determined. Results Compared with pretreatment, the absorbed hematoma were significantly improved in the treatment group(P 0.01,P 0.05).However,the absorbed hematoma in control group became smaller, but it did not improve at the first week(P 0.05),it improved in the 2nd and 3rd week(P 0.01,P 0.05).After treatment for 3 weeks,in the treatment group, the obvious effective rate was 50.0%,the total effective rate was 85.3%;in the control group, the obvious effective rate was 33.3%,the total effective rate was 70.0%,there were significant differences between the two groups(P 0.05).At all timing after treatment, the levels of TNF-α and IL-10 in both groups were significantly decreased than before treatment(P 0.01,P 0.05);moreover,all timing after treatment, the levels of TNF-α and IL-10 in the treatment group were all significantly less than those in the control group(P 0.01,P 0.05).Conclusion The combination of Xuebijing Injection and routine treatment has good efficacy on acute craniocerebral injury. The mechanism may be related to its down-regulating the produce of inflammatory cytokines and controlling inflammation.
