bis(4 hydroxy 3 nitrophenyl) propane can be reduced to 2,2 bis(3 amido 4 hydroxyophenyl) propane which is an intermediate of fire retardant by reduced system of SnCl 2,Sn,HCl and alcohol.It is correspondence with the datum of ultimate analysis,IR,HNMR, 13 CNMR and MS of the product after cleaned by the repeated crystallization.
