Abstract
Objective To improve the value of breast galactography in diagnosis of breast intraductal papilloma.Materials and Methods 45 cases of galactography with intraductal papilloma infirmed by pathology were analyzed retrospectively.Results There were 48 ducts involved with intraductal papilloma in 45 cases.The features of breast intraductal papilloma in galactography were circular filling defect in 23 ducts,irregular filling defect in 12 ducts,strip filling defect in 4 ducts,and mammary duct blocked in 9 ducts.Among 45 cases,41 cases of intraductal papilloma were diagnosed correctly before surgery.The accuracy was 91.1%.Conclusion Breast galactography plays important role in diagnosis of intraductal papilloma.
