Abstract
Objective To improve the value of breast galactography in the diagnosis of breast intraductal papilloma.Method Total 85 cases of galactography with intraductal papilloma infirmed by pathology were analyzed retrospectively.Results There were 88 ducts involved with intraductal papilloma in 85 cases.The features of breast intraductal papilloma in galactography were circular filling defect in 47 ducts,irregular filling defect in 25 ducts,strip filling defect in 8 ducts,and mammary duct blocked in 18 ducts.Among 85 cases,81 cases of intraductal papilloma were diagnosed correctly before surgery.The accuracy was 95.3%.Conclusion Breast galactography plays an important role in the diagnosis of intraductal papilloma.
