Abstract

Taking Saccharomyces cerevisae Y2 genomic DNA as template, HAL1 gene was amplificated with PCR. Moreover the PCR product of HAL1 was cloned into pGEMT easy vector. The gene was sequenced and the results showed that the HAL1 gene contains 885 nucleotides and 99.6% identity with published sequence. The HAL1 gene was constructed on the plant expression vector pBY505.
