Clinical Observation on Electroacupuncture for Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis

Abstract

Objective:To observe clinical therapeutic effect of electroacupuncture on knee osteoarthritis(KOA).Methods:Divide 80 cases of KOA into treated group and control group in random,which were treated by electroacupuncture on pointsat circumference of knee joints and by oral fenbid respectively.Results:The clinical curative rate of the treated group and control group were 42.5% and 30% respectively,the total effective rate 92.5% and 80% respectively(P0.05).Conclusion:The electroacupuncture for treatment of KOA has significantly effect and no obviously bad-reaction.
