Abstract
The contents of heavy metals(Pb.Cd)in 794 vegetables in the suburbs of zhengzhou were investgated and analyzed, the results showed that the vegetables tested of zhengzhou were partially polluted by Pb and Cd;the Pb exceeding standard ratio Of the leaf-vegatables is the highest(14.5%),the root vegetables is the lowest(3.3%).the Cd exceeding standard ratio of Beans vegetables is up to 3.8%,the root vegetables have't been found exceeding the standard. The content of heavy metal in polluted vegetables and soil environment has no certain relation;Contaminated vegetables are mainly concentrated in the surrounding area, industrial area, mining area and adjacent to the highway.
