Influence of clinical nursing pathway on clinical curative effects in 58 cases of chronic gastritis

Abstract
Objective To investigate the influence of clinical nursing pathway on clinical curative effects in the patients with chronic gastritis.Methods 58 patients with chronic gastritis treated in our hospital from March 2011 to October 2011 were chosen as the research subjects and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group.Two groups were all based on the holistic nursing.The control group took the conventional nursing methods.The observation group adopted the clini cal nursing pathway and performed nursing care by conducting the planned,targeted and individualized nursing scheme.The av erage length of hospital stay,average hospital costs,incidence rate of complications,patient's satisfaction and grasping degree of health knowledge were observed and recorded in the two groups.Results The average length of hospital stay,hospital costs and incidence rate of complications in the observation group were lower than those in the control group with statistical difference(P 0.05).The degree of patient satisfaction and mastery degree of health knowledge in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,also showing statistical difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion The clinical nursing pathway applied during the process in treating chronic gastritis enhances the relationship between nurses and patients,ensures the good quality of nursing care,decrease the length of hospital stay and hospital costs,and reduces the incidence rate of complications.Patients are satisfied with nursing care by the clinical nursing pathway.
