Satisfaction analysis of clinical nursing pathway applied in women with uterine fibroids

Objective To analyze and evaluate the satisfaction situation of the clinical nursing pathway applied in women with uterine fibroids. Methods 104 patients with uterine fibroids treated in our hospital from October 2011 to October 2012 were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 52 patients in each group.Both groups received surgical treatment.The control group implemented conventional nursing measures and the observation group implemented clinical nursing pathway.The clinical nursing effects of the two groups of patients were analyzed comparatively. Results The observation group had shorter hospital stay and lower total hospitalization cost than the control group,with significant difference(P 0.05).The observation group had higher pass rate of health education knowledge than the control group and lower incidence of complications than the control group,with significant differences between the two groups(P 0.05 for all).The two groups were not significantly different in the cure rate(P 0.05).The observation group had higher nursing satisfaction degrees in the aspects of psychological support,technical level,health education,patient care and service attitude than the control group,with statistically significant differences between the two groups(P 0.05 for all). Conclusion The implementation of clinical nursing pathway is conducive to enhancing the knowledge of patients with uterine fibroid, shortening hospital stay, reducing hospitalization cost,improving patient satisfaction to nursing services and enhancing nursing service quality.
