Abstract
In order to investage the evolution of soybean, the soluble sugar and soluble protein contents, peroxidase (POD) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activities were studied with three evolution types of soybean. The results showed that the soluble sugar and soluble protein contents, POD and SOD activities were increased. The activity of POD was increased during growth stage, but the activity of SOD was decreased. The soluble sugar content and POD activity of cultivated soybean were highest in upper leaves; the semi-cultivated soybean (Glycine gracilis B.) was similar to the cultivated soybean (Glycine max L.); the semi-wild soybean (Glycine gracilis B.) was not obvious.
