Abstract

Soybean [Glycine max(L.)Merr.] seedlings have been cultured in flowerpots with equal size and the same soil.In this pot experiment, soybean seedlings are poured with 5 mmol/L,10 mmol/L,20 mmol/L ascorbic acid(VC) and tap water(CK),18 days later, the soluble sugar content and the soluble protein content together with the activity of nitrate reductase(NRA),the activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and the activity of peroxidase(POD) in leaves are measured. The results show that the content of soluble sugar and soluble protein and the activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD) in the soybean leaves which are poured with 10mmol/L VC have been enhanced contrasted with CK;the activity of nitrate reductase(NRA) in the leaves which are poured with the three different consistence of ascorbic acid(VC) are higher than CK;and 10mmol/LVC have no obvious effect on the activity of peroxidase(POD).
